Mexican Wedding Catering in London
Proper Mexican street food for your wedding, cooked fresh in front of your guests. We bring the gazebo, the griddle and the team, and serve birria tacos, quesabirria and all the trimmings, from the wedding breakfast to late-night food.
Staffed street food set-up · Vegan & gluten-free options · Indoor or outdoor
A relaxed Mexican feast for your big day
Not every wedding wants a three-course sit-down. If you’re after something more relaxed, a Mexican street food feast gets guests up, chatting and coming back for seconds.
We cater weddings across London and the Home Counties, including Essex, Kent and Hertfordshire, and further afield with enough notice.
Every dish comes from recipes picked up during a year and a half travelling and cooking across Mexico: slow-cooked beef birria, our vegan mushroom birria, house salsas and fresh totopos. See all our street food & taco bar set-ups, or our Mexican catering in London. You can also find us on Hitched.
However your day runs
The main meal
Swap the sit-down for a street taco feast. Guests come up to the gazebo, we serve tacos with all the toppings, and everyone eats together.
Evening food
Late-night quesabirria straight off the griddle, just as the dancing gets going. It’s the bit people remember.
Festival & garden weddings
Marquees, fields, gardens and courtyards. Everything runs under our own 3 × 3 m gazebo, so we’re fine in light rain.
Venues & pub receptions
Function rooms, pubs, hotels and restaurants, indoors or out. Tell us about your venue and we’ll work around it.
Quesabirria, made to order
Corn tortillas dipped in birria consomé, filled with slow-cooked beef birria and melted cheese, then crisped on the flat-top until golden. Made in front of your guests and served straight off the griddle. A vegan mushroom birria version is available too.
Everything under our own gazebo
We arrive, set up and have everything running before your guests are ready to eat, then clear it all away afterwards. All we need is a 3 × 3 metre space, indoors or out.
What we can serve
Mix and match. Most weddings have the taco bar, totopos and the salad station, with the griddle for evening food or a bit of theatre.
Self-serve taco bar
Warm corn tortillas, beef birria and our vegan mushroom birria, laid out so guests build their own.
Quesabirria griddle
Cheesy birria tacos crisped to order on the flat-top. Our showpiece, and perfect for evening food.
Totopos & salsas
Crunchy totopos (corn tortilla chips) with a choice of three house salsas, from mild to proper heat.
Salad station
Fresh toppings to load up your tacos: shredded cheese, pickled red onion, coriander, onion, lime and more.
Add-ons: hot queso, elote (corn on the cob with Parmesan and Tajín) and guacamole.
